Thats what I'm thinking that it is because none of the smilies move for me or anything.. Maybe they aren't supposed to and I'm freaking out about nothing. Please let me know if they do anything mobile, so I may test my computer.

Yes, the majority of the smilies should be moving.

You might have set your browser to turn off animation. Unfortuntately, they keep moving that around the menus. Try the help on your browser.

Other than that, not sure.

Cricket I have tried to look at my browser setting and it says that I allow animation.


Cep I think what you are looking for is Internet Explorer and I have Mozilla Firefox too. If thats not the info that you are looking for then you'll have to let me know. If it is , is there anything that you might know about the two that could be keeping me from it???? Any info will be appreciated and I will continue to check on it more myself.

I have Firefox. Every now and then, the smilies stop moving, but I don't get any error messages. It's about a 10% chance when I come here that the smilies won't work. Don't know what causes it. Right now, they're moving around like crazy, as they're supposed to.

The moving smilies are only animated gifs. If the basic start image is showing up but the following movement frames aren't, it probably means your PC has been on for too long and needs to be rebooted, or perhaps that you need to clear your cache but that's far less likely.

If you're getting the start image but no animation, then the image is being downloaded, your computer just isn't able to display it.

There are several things you can try Gatchgirl,

1. In IE

tools > Internet options > Advanced > In the settings box verify that Multimedia selection "Play animations on web pages" is selected.

2. Open Zone Alarm and make sure that Ad Blocking is not enabled

3. In FF clear your cache and reload
