OTC medicine

I went to the pharmacy today to buy allergy pills. When I go to get them off the shelf I find out that I need to ask the pharmacist for the OTC meds. I thought that it was a pain but slightly understanding since too many people are using them to make meth drugs. What I didn't know was that they want to scan your drivers liscense along with typing in your SS # for their records. I'm not sure why anybody would really need to have all of that information for allergy pills but I do know the "reason" that they will give you if you ask. To think that my family wonders why I don't want to have kids! I go insane enough in this world let alone have a kid that would have to live with the "control" factor all of its life. What happened to the state that we once lived in? Thanks for letting me vent!!!

Exactly, now if I was buying 5 boxes I could see an eyebrow being raised in this day and time but one box is no call for an alarm. Regardless of how a person sounds. I am the type that tries to keep some allergy pills on hand since I seem to be plagued by them. Now they find it as a reason to investigate or keep an eye on you? Why don't they just keep a closer look at the anhydrous ammonia being sold. Not that I want them to have to go though alot of s#it to get it either but at least they would have a little bit better planning then trying to fight an illness with having hurdles to go through.

I have read 1984 but I haven't had the ability to watch the movie. I am considering buying it for my better half for his b-day this year. I think there is a BIG price difference between the newer to older version with the later being cheaper. Probably bad quality. I do agree with your quote though. I also like the one that goes something like it's better to live one day as a lion then to live a life time like a sheep.
What is this Watership Down that you speak of? It sounds interesting and insightful.

I always loved the idea that the whole book grew out of a story the author was telling to his kids during a long car journey.
