It's no secret that I have a fondness for Fennec foxes.
The past few months I've been following the life of an adorable young vixen named Hesoten. Her humans are a Japanese couple who have shared her with the world on YouTube ever since she was days old.
You can't help falling in love with this adorable sweetheart.
During a recent visit to the vet, it was discovered that her right eye is completely clouded over by a cataract, and a cataract i forming in her left eye. She is only 15 months old. She needs surgery.
Hesoten's humans can't pay for it on their own, so they have set up a crowdfunding account.
