For some reason, what really cracks me up is the oh-so-low-tech solution for dealing with the double -they tie a bag over his head. Or maybe I'm just wishing they'd inflict that indignity on the real Zark.
...Or maybe Keyop was just getting it ready for the next Center Neptune garage sale -- all he'd have to do is slap a tag on it that says, "Mystery Grab Bag -- $1.00".
...Or maybe they wanted to see if the fake Zark could do the trick I saw several guys do when I was in college: stretch a condom over his head and inflate it with his nose!

Who in the world talks like that. Is it that age? Is it the writers?
It's strictly the writers -- nobody ever talked like that! But it was common in the early super hero comic books, though I have no idea why they thought using over-the-top corny phrases enhanced the character....
...I do recommend watching the "Batman" tv series from the 1960's. They lay on this type of dialogue pretty thick (as well as a good number of other well-worn comic book and superhero movie traditions), but it's all done as a joke.

Oooooh! I can so see Joe wearing that eye patch, and with that scar on his face! Now that I'm thinking, I can really see hints of similarity between him and Captain Harlock! ... both in aspect and in character! As to Jinpei being the second Tetsuro ... well, the rounded eyes are there and so is the age!
