Continuing on the Pluto theme (sorry, can't resist!), there's a short story available today for free on Amazon for the Kindle, it's called "Plutoed", by Michael D. Britton.
Apparently this is a humorous take on the issue.

with all the mixed up uniforms, it's hard to tell which one is which when they're all close together like that. There's only Tiny that seems to stand out at all.

I have to agree with KT, it is very confusing when they keep mixing up the uniform colours and then seem to keep drawing them so their features look so similar.
So in the panel with Zark - is that Jason reporting in (and putting on his helmet), or Mark holding his head while reporting in?

I THINK that this comic ignores the whole 'trasnmute' thing. So they're trying to show everyone putting on their helmets, to show that they are 'getting dressed' in their uniforms. So Mark has his hands on his helmet because he's just put it on.
And of course this explains why they never go far from the Phoenix: it holds all of their uniforms!
from what I've seen, that certainly makes a lot of sense, even if not exactly canon... They should employ all of us, I'm sure we'd do a much better job of it!

Okay .... then I guess I am wrong in thinking that is Mark, with his helmet on, in the previous panel ....
