It can't be on terrestrial channels otherwise I would have seen it and since having Freeview, I can't have the Discovery channel unless I pay for the Top Up TV thingy and then I may have the discovery channel.

Definitely Adam, but missing the "I can't believe I get paid to do this!" look.

My parents have satellite, and there was a MythBusters marathon at Christmas. We taped it and watched an ep or two a day. Got a bit worried about the kids wanting to actually try some of those things.

Hah, that's the one where they're trying to see whether a loud soundsystem can literally shake a car to bits isn't it?

I love the one where they do that thing that involves putting methane into huge columns of soap bubbles and then setting fire to them. Can't remember what it had to do with any kind of myth but it looked good.

I remember doing this awhile back and I think it came up as Helena Christiansen and my male counterpart was Jon Bon Jovi. It must have had something to do with the way my bangs were in the picture.

The only person I've ever been told I look like is Jasmine Bleeth (the face not the body).

I remember them blowing up a house in the name of mythbusting .. The roach-bomb one.

The house didn't blow, they got all pissy, then MADE SURE they exploded the place.

Or what about the Cement mixer one? Couldn't confirm the myth, not enough bang, so they filled the whole darn thing with TNT ...

Or when they had Adam fart into a bottle so thay could analyze the contents of a fart to see if you could actually gas yourself to death ...

OOOh, so glad they're still making them. Parents said the ones we saw at Xmas were all reruns, so I'd assumed the worst.

I watched one this evening where they were recreating the Hindenburg. With home-made thermite. And their second team were trying to see whether running away from a crocodile/alligator in a zigzag manner would be more effective than running in a straight line - with a dummy equipped with "meat legs" made of fishnet stockings stuffed with quail. Flames and alligators, it's the stuff entertainment is made of.

I have some info for you all about Mythbusters.I got Mythbusters Collections 1(4 Disc set) at walmart on wednesday,it's 19.99 ,if anyone is interested. Also new episoses start next Wednesday at 9pm est. If anyone who doesn't have discovery channel and still wants the eps.,let me know and I wil gladly tape them for you.
OT: if anyone is interested in the Paranormal,Most Haunted is having alive special tonight at 8pm est(not sure on time),also Ghost Hunters is showing new episodes starting June 6 at 9pm est.
