I love those ones about work and study getting in the way LW! I feel that way so many times.

Which is why I now bring my own laptop to work and leave it on my classroom desk. When ever I sit down for a moment I refresh my Gatchamania page and see what is going on.

Same here! At least, I work from home, but imagine me climbing up and down the stairs to our study, several times during the day, every time I have to leave some sugar work to dry for some minutes, or else timing my kids' needs hours + DH's (which I've learn by heart!) in order not to miss anything! I do, sometimes, end up with something, which may have been planned beforehand, not finished at the end of the day, though!

I also realise this addiction when I dream ... in many of my dreams, someone of the SNT is present as one of the characters I'm dreaming about! ... not surprisingly, mostly Ken!!

Common names to those heard in the series, being person's names, or else names of places, vehicles, etc, also trigger my ear and make me turn my head, instinctively around!

You hear the word "birdie" in a golfing context, and immediately you think of BoTP and Gatch. Not the mention that the same happens with the word "eagle". As far as I know, there was no "albatross" on BoTP/Gatch, so that word I can use safely on the golf course...the downside being I have practically no chance to use it as I'm not good enough to strike an albatross yet...

I can see Ken and Joe arguing about who got the biggest tally and the best "kill of the week"

as for golf - they could use debri as golf balls, with Jun adding a little bit more explosive to the impact, a "hole-in-one" could have a new meaning

AH ah! fic idear - superheros and extreme sports , they could be fundraising for their favourate charities -
all their skills, gadgets etc pitted against each other for TV ratings, ooohhhh Gatchaman vs Spectra , winner take all, done over several weeks (extra ratings, spectators can vote of one contestent a week, (phone in) spectra can go for extra rating (most ridiculous mecha of week, most flamboyant "Captain of the week), endless advertising) trial by media

I could see a golf game between the Eagle and Condor starting out calmly enough, but very quickly turning more "extreme"!

This is probably why we never see them golf in the series -they have been banned from every course in the entire vicinity of Utoland.
