I suspect that the dress is an attempt to be 'spacey' a la the Jetsons. But they *are* on vacation... I guess Tiny would have to pick them up, or he and Keyop are handling things alone.
Okay, this one is actually slightly disturbing (to me, at least).
I suspect this is actually Chief Anderson's evil twin, given the clothes and dark hair color. How else could he 'convict' Jason on such flimsy evidence? Or is this just an example of how Jason never gets a fair break and is always blamed for everything?
First I would like to know what is meant to be on those documents found in Jason's room. But I agree, with you TJ, why convict/blame anyone on such untried (or unconfirmed) evidence.
And why does Jason's actions reflect on the entire team? Making Anderson think they are ALL untrustworthy.

My theory... Zoltar, or someone from Spectra, has stolen some top secret information and also framed Jason, making it appear that he's a traitor/spy who assisted the Spectrans in getting the info.
Everyone knows that Jason is hot-headed and has trouble with obeying orders, and of course Anderson is aware that it's a very small step to go from "hot-headed" to "traitor" () so naturally he assumes he's guilty...
Oh, and he's annoyed that Mark and the others didn't notice what their "traitor" teammate had been up to, so he's decided they're careless/negligent.
Or the writers were just being lazy. If I recall, most of those Gold Key comics ran the entire story in one issue. Short is usually harder to write than long, and lets remember that many of the writers really didn't know anything about the shows they were 'adapting' in the first place.
And, since the intended audience were children, that means a certain amount of sloppiness can slip in if the writers think plotting and characterization don't really matter.
(But, notice how you managed to come up with some interesting ideas based on that one page!)

I noticed one of the guards looks like he is trying to hide a smirk.
Perhaps...Jason found evidence That Anderson has, had hair transplants / hair plugs or has Erectile Disfunction..Oh no! all the other scientist will laugh at him when He goes to the Mens Club
and what were they doing searching Jasons Room...Looking for contraband..and what would they have found...Rock music, playboys, nudie magazines, lots of girls numbers
and as for the look on Marks face, I've seen that befor on my nephew just befor my sister "grounds him" "But mum there's a big party this weekend..."
How would you actually ground a "ninja"?.. something for me to ponder..mmm

LW, you're totally right! The guards who 'found' the documents are the ones working for Spectra. Too bad Chief Anderson couldn't figure this out! Clearly you're brighter than he is!
UW, you're also right: all of these stories finished in one issue, so they were never very 'deep'.
LB, I love your ideas! Maybe since Becky is working on expanding the Top Cow stories, you could work on Gold Key ones...
I'm glad we're all outraged to see Anderson's outrageous treatment of Jason and summary judgement of the others!

As a kid, I had a book of stories from Classical mythology -I think some kids would have gotten the "Neptune" reference. Just like I'm sure I'm not the only one seeing the irony in a destructive hurricane named "Irene."
what is Zark doing out of uniform?
and what is Ivar doing talking to Zoltar at the control center?
Is this the only place your can make off-world phone calls?
and was it collect or will Center Neptune get a massive phone bill?
Zark doesn't seem fazed...shouldn't his antenee be up in surprise?
So many question ..so few answers

Okay, here's what happened before and after the 'reveal'...
Before:
So the Spectran spy sneaks off to contact Zoltar. The documents were plans for Galaxy Security's latest weapon (which they don't even use in the issue). Chief Anderson believed the guard's word that Jason stunned him and took the plans, without even hearing Jason's side of the story (typical). Jason followed the guy, since he had been the one to finger Jason.
And now we know why Zark was just standing there: the Spectran spy stunned him!
And here's what happened after Jason confirmed he was set up.
Clearly Jason was just useless this episode, although he did manage to escape from his cell all by his lonesome (he had a lockpick in his 'emergency belt').
