Yeah. . . isn't that obvious by now?
We're on to him now! He can't hide!
On a slightly different tangent, although I am seeing the bottle in the cartoon right in front of me, I REFUSE to believe it! A BOTTLE???!!! As the title of this thread goes, once again, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

That was my thought as well.
Yep, in BOTP asteroids are completely capable fo sustaining life. IIRC, the planet with the magma giant was actually an asteroid. Or was that Zarcadia? I'm confused....
As for 'what were they thinking'.... we'll never know (this stuff was drawn 30 years ago, so who knows where the cartoonists are now) but it certainly is fun to speculate!

There are times I think the question should not be "What were they thinking?" but "What were they on?"

I was wondering -- can anybody see a label on the bottle? I was just wondering what vintage Spectra used to capture the hostages. . . (a decent year of Dom, perhaps?)

Wrong shape for good bubbly (or bad bubbly). Most likely a cheap Gallo or maybe a water or soda. Considering the censors, water or soda.
