Murdoch was smart. Yes, he was insane at one point, but pulled himself out of it - only to realise that if he was discovered to be cured, he'd then be put on trail for the Crime They Didn't Commit.

Oh, that box. You'll dream about that box: it'll never leave you. Big and little at the same time; brand-new and ancient - and the bluest blue, ever.
The original A-team were Vietnam veterans. Given the time that has passed since then, I think the movie version would have to be veterans of more recent actions.
CD - Tiny and BA in an arm-wrestling match. Which has been going on so long that both teams are now thinking of ways to end it so they can get on with the rest of the day. Oh, and the combatants' hands haven't wavered so much as a hairs-breadth.

I'm so with you there!! I even refused to watch the Battlestar Galactica remake when they changed his character, Starbuck, to woman!

Was he really insane or just crazy enough to convince everyone around him that he was?

That is what I always thought. Although I would not say crazy enough but smart enough to be able to convince everyone that he was crazy.

My dad loved the A-Team - and ended up coining the phrase in our family "A-Team school of combat" for the sorts of action/gun battles where lots of shots are fired, but nothing actually hits anything - and if it does it goes KABOOM!
Murdock was all of our fave character - because he was so like Uncle Jack (dad's younger brother who was a pilot in Vietnam). Uncle Jack always said tht most of the Vietnam pilots were more than a little crazy because it helped them do the job they had to do. (His opinion of the chopper pilots went from "more than a little crazy" to "those guys wer fucking insane").
I am just so looking forward to this movie!!! And - I've discovered that I can get the original episodes from my DVD rental service!!
Speaking of Dirk Benedict in it - didn't you just adore the opening credits when he does the double take at the Cylon that walks by?

Second or third season, yes! It was a look that was somewhere between "Don't I know you?" and "Aren't you in the wrong show?"

You know I felt the same, but the new BSG turned out to be one of the best written drama's Ive seen in many a year.
There cant be an A-Team with out George Peppard, and I say that as some one who was devestated my mum wouldnt let me wear my A-Team sweat shirt to school in the early 80's.

My husband feels the same way! I love Liam Neeson, but I do have a hard time picturing him as Hannibal.

I's great to see you back here, Veritas! How are things goig? How is life with your expanded family?
BTW, I am still wearing the t-shits you made, and they are wonderful! I think of you every time I put one on.
ahh thanks, I'm glad you liked them, I was worried they wouldnt be as imagined and every one would think they were ripped off.
I feel like I'm in a worm hole or something. It feels like he's been here forever but hes only 3 months!
But I'm getting more free time now as he goes longer between feeds and I get more sleep. Thats the problem with breastfeeding I cant skip a feed
and have a break.
I know how you feel! When I was nursing, I'd place a large pillow on my lap and then my baby on top. I'd sit at the computer this way, and my child would nurse and sleep at will while I got to tool around on the computer. It was heaven for both of us!
But it took me awhile to come up with that routine. When I first started, I just lost a lot of sleep and watched a lot of TV at weird hours. It helped when the babies were old enough to take a bottle. I'd use the Medela and pup and then sometimes other people could feed them. I found that if I pumped first thing in the morning, when I was most engorged, that I'd have enough to get a bottle or two, and then still give baby their morning feed. One weekends, DH would do the night feedings and I could sleep for 8 hours straight. Sigh... I miss my kids as babies, but I sure don't miss the sleepless nights!
I'm glad you're doing well, and your son too!
