Can't get used to seeing blond Keyop! I suppose the team could have used a little more hair colour variety (and it sure seems the creators of these comics thought so too) -a blond or a redhead- but I still think it wouldn't have been that hard for them to give the team their proper, canon hair colors in this comic (and civvies and uniform colors...)
Okay, from later on in the same story... Jinpei has been captured by Galactor agents! But here's a piece of equipment I'll bet you didn't know he had...
Now I'm wondering why he can't just use his wrist communicator.
And if that Galactor agent is a zombie -something about the way his hands are stretched forth... Clearly Keyop is so frightened his hair has now turned completely white!
I guess it makes sense that someone with a speech impediment wouldn't have it in their own thoughts, but as speech or thoughts are both shown in text bubbles in a comic, it does come across as sort of strange.
Goon ...."I'm a lumber Jack and I'm okay..." preparing to breaking into further song
Keyop.."Damb no ear plugs, wait... I'll use the lint out of my belly button, perhaps that will muffle their rendition of monty phython..."
LW... I'm blaming the shirt
Keyop is calling for immediate medical evac as Tiny has been bitten by Spectra Bees and is swelling up due to anaphylaxic shock

You guys ar right, he should just be able to use his communicator!
LB, the guy isn't a zombie, but he's just about as dumb as one.
In canon, there are episodes where Keyop 'thinks' (one is the episode where he sneaks by himself into a base in an underground cave... in the ADV Gatch version, the CotW is a stuttering Spinal Tap guy with a British accent) and he is still burbling in his thoughts! D'oh!!!!
And now we see what has happened to poor, captured Keyop! In this instance, Zoltar is acting just like Zoltar from canon...except in that he apparently seems to know who Keyop is!

It *could * be said that Zoltar does not know who Keyop is and he thinks he is using an innocent civilian to keep G-Force's attention focused elsewhere while he escapes. But I tend to feel that Zoltar does know that Keyop is a member.

Zoltar is pretty certain that G-Force would actually know Keyop was there, and would come looking for him. IIRC, the implication in the comic was that Zoltar knew exactly who Keyop was.
Somehow, tying Keyop to a pipe in some basement and then opening a valve to flood it seems... rather low-tech for Spectra. Guess Zoltar really is improvising on the fly here!
Though if Zoltar knows who Keyop is, he could just throttle him on the spot with that handy rope and eliminate one member of G-Force -but villains in these kind of stories never do that, do they?
It reminds me a lot of those Adam West Batman episodes where there would be a cliffhanger of just this sort all the time... and I think it was UW who noted at the beginning of this thread that Zoltar does resemble Batman, the way they've drawn him!
I don't think that was me about the Batman resemblance. It looks like the artists might have been basing Zoltar's face on the crappier shots from the anime. (If the writers and artists didn't watch the TV shows they adapted, they must have used stills from them for reference. As I recall, for their adaptations of live-action shows, they got the faces mostly right.)
Still didn't get the color on the gloves and boots right.
