I saw that the old BotP Yahoo group still exists. I haven't been in it in years, so I tried to get in. It said my userid wasn't registered and was new (it looked totally different so I assume when the system was last updated you had to re-register or its been so long it purged my registration), so I tried to register. It won't accept my cell phone number, saying its invalid.

I don' know if anyone is lurking who still posts over there who could give advise?

Hmmmm...I still get emails from the group from time to time...I haven't tried to visit on quite some time. I need to try and see what happens...

I was able to get in because it still had my cookies filled in. I'm not sure I'd still know my password otherwise. I did notice that it had a link you could click if you couldn't remember your password. Wonder if you could just create a new account?

Becky, technically I am still a member, but I have not seen any traffic on that list in quite some time (right Springie?). If it helps any, you aren't missing much at this point.

I'm a member too and it's very quite. Some posts from James...the same stuff he posts here and last week someone was looking for the author of a fanfic. Theres also the daily "today in gatchaman history" post but thats it. I haven't had problems logging in but I kept my yahoo ID updated.

Kritter: Thanks for that. I need to go check my settings. I'll bet I'm still set to no mail! I set it up that way during a trip last summer. Oops! No wonder I have no mail ...

No one uses Crescent Coral Base unless this site goes down. It's kind of a "backup" meetup place for lost Gatchamaniacs...

Springie is right, the Crescent Coral Base site was never meant to be permanent, only a place for us to congregate when Gatchamania was down. Fortunately this doesn't seem to happen much anymore, but there was a period of time where it would be down for days at a time and no one would know what was going on.
