Infini-T Force Episode 11 Delayed

Hi all!

I would guess that, by now, those of you who have been checking the Viz or TubiTV sites for the latest episode of Infini-T Force have noticed that episode #11 hasn't appeared it. I figured i should confirm that, yes, the release of the episode has been delayed.

Why has this happened? Short answer; On the morning of December 13th, Nippon Television will be airing the FIFA Club World Cup match instead of Infini-T Force.

What? You need more than that? Fine, the long answer it is.

As you may recall, in Japan, new episodes of Infini-T Force air on Nippon Television at 1:59am on Wednesday mornings. For Japanese subscribers of Hulu, new episodes are actually released one week earlier than when they air on Nippon Television. So, while Japanese fans watching Infini-T Force on NTV have just this week seen episode #10 of the series, Hulu subscribers got to enjoy episode #10 last week. For fans outside of Japan, like us, Viz and TubiTV are following the Japanese Hulu release schedule, which is why we got to see episode #10 last week. Ultimately, though, the final arbiter on when new episodes are released is Nippon Television, and that's where the World Cub match next week comes into play.

You see, NTV will be airing Tuesday's Semi-Final match live as it is being played in the United Arab Emirates. With the time zone differences, that puts the start of NTV's coverage on Wednesday at 1:39am, preempting Infini-T Force's normal 1:59am timeslot.

The domino effect of this is that episode #11 of Infini-T Force won't be airing on Nippon Television until 1:59am on December 20th. Because Hulu is not allowed to release an episode any earlier than one week before it will air on NTV, episode #11 won't be available there before 1:59am on Wednesday, December 13th. Viz and TubiTV are bound by the same constraints, and therefore cannot release episode #11 until 9:59am PST on Tuesday, December 12th.

So, the long and the short of it is that there will be no new episode of Infini-T Force until next Tuesday, all thanks to NTV airing a World Cup match next week.

In the absence of ep. 11, I'm watching ep. 1 again in small bites in between doing housework and bird stuff. There's a lot of visual information packed into each screen. Animation has come a very long way. It's worth watching the episodes more than once, I think.

For those of us who are geowalled out of the North American streaming services, Katblu42 found a Spanish-language facebook page called 'Kagaku Ninja Tai Gatchaman Forever' where you can watch the videos. There are versions with English subs and Spanish subs so choose the language you are most comfortable with and have fun.

Those of you inside The Wall (which bears a startling resemblance to another Wall - wouldn't want us bloody foreigners mucking up your nice clean internet by looking at it!) can watch ep 11 here:

The rest of us have to wait until next week.

So, no spoilers please!
