Battle of the Planets Book On Sale

Hi all!

TwoMorrows, the company that published the book "G-Force: Animated," is currently having a sale. During the sale, which runs through September 30th, you can purchase "G-Force: Animated" for $7.98, which is 50% off the cover price. If you haven't already purchased a copy of the book, this would be a great opportunity for you to add it to your collection.

The book can be found on the TwoMorrows website at:

http://www.twomorrows.com/

You'll find it among the items in the "50% Book/DVD Sale" category on the left-hand column of the page.

Just figured you'd want to know!

James

Thank you James.
I guess at that price I have no excuse for not having a copy.

And if you come to Comic Con and you're as cheeky as I am, you can have Jason Hofius sign it for you next year. Wink

Oh man, I can resist action figures, but books tempt me mightily.

But I just spent so much $ on Order of the Stick books... But this is a really good deal... Aargh!

What? You're using book money to replace books -I don't see the "bad" here at all.

I have some books that are discoloured and warped on the bottom edge, from being left for the summer at a friend's apartment in Montreal, where a pipe burst. But I was lucky, it could have been far worse.

Thanks a lot for the information James! I have just purchased a copy.

Well, I guess I could be looking at it like that. In this case I am using book money to replace a book I did not have - although I really do not want to replace all those University books I had that I will never look at again, and that I could not get rid of in the used book sales at the Uni.

Ooog . . . you know it's bad when they won't even take it in the used-book sale at the school! I had a box of books like that when I got out . . . it was one of the things that got "forgotten" down by the dumpster. Who knows . . . maybe somebody went through the box and found something they liked. Wink

Being in academia, I end up with a LOT of those kinds of books. At least the paper can be recycled. Wink

Hi all!

I should point out that, because TwoMorrows has the book on sale, they are likely trying to clearance out their remaining stock of it. Once it's sold out, they are unlikely to do a third printing of it (That they did a second printing was something of a minor miracle. They had never before had a book that sold so well and so fast that a second printing was warranted, and trying to get them to wrap their heads around the notion that it would be a good idea was not easy).

So, unless you want to spend your time looking for used copies later, you really ought to take advantage of this sale.

James

Thanks James for the information. I've had a copy of this book for quite some time and find it to be rather a great read (hope I worded it correctly)

May have to get a second one though, just in case this one falls apart more.

Okay, James, you convinced me! I went over and got another copy to use, so that my autographed one can remain more pristine. Wink And I also found Mark Evanier's book half price too... CD was laughing at me reading it in the bookstore while she hunted for fantasy books in San Diego. Now I'll have the whole thing! Big Grin

BTW, the shipping was reasonable. They send it by Media Mail so it was only $2.68, I think.

I was??? I am sorry I don't remember that, but then we were doing so much laughing when we were together, I don't remember everything we were laughing at. Smile

Who is Mark Evanier? Is he the author of Order of the Stick? I'll let my inner "clueless"-ness amuse you...LOL

Nope, he's just a comic book industry guru... also one of the co-creators of Groo the Wanderer. In fact, I left a lecture with Mark Evanier early at Comic Con so I could meet uyp with the Gatchafans under the sails. Wink
