Everything seems possible in these comics! ... I so wish I could turn into smoke whenever I want that easily!!Tongue

And, again, G-Force is just in time to literally hear Zoltar's detailed plan, and to save the day! ... or not?!

It might be more fun if they weren't in time to save the day... but then, there's only one more 'issue' (2 pages) in this story, so that would suggest that this will be wrapped up quickly! Wink

Laugh2 Okay, some writer was either pretty clueless about what "superpowers" G-Force is supposed to have (figuring, maybe, that if their ship can turn into flames, that they must be able to become smoke?) or really lazy and just looking for a quick way to get them inside the secret factory in only two panels.

I suspect they didn't know much about the original show and were just making it up. Jason told me he once interviewed a guy who wrote the French BOTP comics (which were apparently just as bad) and the guy admitted that they had never even seen the show and were working off of stills and very little information. I don't think it was much different in the US and UK, from what I've seen!

But look at the avenues this opens, now that we know that they also have this super-power!

Yeah, every time a smoke detector goes off, we hear Spectrans say, "Damn, G-Force is here!"

I guess you haven't read any of the Spectran procedure manuals, huh? It's standard practice to keep several buckets of water near sensitive electronic equipment and near any place an electrical fire may break out! Lightning

It's not much different than their practice of keeping lit tiki torches wherever they store fuel or gas up their vehicles!

EW, LOL.

That was more or less what I was thinking. Good to see we share some of the same ideas.

Same spontaneous question here!!

EW ... you always have the right answer!!

... a kick in the jewels could have been a better option, though, since the goon seems unarmed!

Probably you mean EW, KT! I wish I had made the suggestion, but I didn't. Wink

However, may I object to the sexist and agist use of the term "girl" by Zoltar?

sorry, my mistake, it was actually Marie's suggestion i was commenting on.....if any child was to copy this, I'd rather they gave someone a swift kick than threw water about a room full of electrical equipment.

It looked as if Princess succeeded in turning off the electrical supply before the water got thrown though.....

So does this mean that goons melt? Are they related to the Wicked Witch of the West?

Or is that not truly a bucket of water?

Shrug

Or they could be following a bit from a little-read appendix to the manual: when water's not available, fill the buckets with sulfuric acid! (That's so much safer, don't ya think?) Happy
