You've got a point, there, DT. . . it would have been a much better sentence if the writer left out "about". . . . I just let it go because I thought Keyop was so excited about seeing the steam engine that he wasn't paying attention to his grammar and usage!

And now, after all of those wonderful ideas you all had... the locomotive disappears!

oh I love it when they try to imply that G-force have met their match... we so know they haven't!!!

Oh, and those "missing" starships, where have I seen those before?

Well, I know they can glow, according to Dad's experience during Operation Redwing. . . Army

I... I'm at a loss here. Of all the things Zoltar could've used as a bait for the G-force, why a locomotive? That's so bizarre. I mean, fair enough. It certainly is unusual to find one in space. So is an armadillo, a peach tree, or Darren Aronofsky. One would think that Zoltar would use something with even the slightest connection to the team. Unless that was the point. (btw, Princess seems to be experiencing some sort of religious ecstasy there, on the second panel)

I don't know whether they were referring to weeds that might have overgrown around them, or if they meant that the ships were looking deserted and consequently way neglected!

Marie, I have no doubts that's exactly what they meant, but the grammarian in me, had to point it out.

TBH, if I had beta read this, I'd have questioned, but since it is dialogue, wouldn't have made a recommendation, because speech is rarely perfect.

Oh my! After their Harry Potter cross-over, they're doing a Star Wars one?

As for using the locomotive as a bait...well, maybe that's the beginning of another cross-over! I was watching Season 5 of The Big Bang Theory on DVD -- Sheldon would DEFINITELY be baited by a locomotive, and if it works for him, why can't it work for G-Force?

Confused, confused! Confused2

LOL, Daniella! I suppose Keyop might be really into locomotives!

BTW, did I tell you that on our way to Comic Con this year we took one day in Los Angeles and made it a 'train day', as per Sheldon's recommendation? Wink

And they all just wander inside without suspecting a thing? Nono2

You'd think they would have more sense than that and at least left Tiny behind on the Phoenix, just in case?

Oh no, of course not! Why leave Tiny behind?

You realize now Zoltar could just abscond with the Phoenix too...

Yeah, I'm sure that is all part of Zoltar's wicked plan too.... just wondering if he'll know how to pilot it?

Mark actually said something clever in this installment - he noticed the lack of footprints! I 'm impressed!

Hey, a leader can only lead so much -- the team has to do some thinking too!
