You know you could use that in a story! Poke

It has occurred to me, Ame. Smile No story has presented itself yet, though, to go with it. Smile

Is it just me or does the smoke trail left by Zoltar's escape pod look disturbingly like an umbilical cord?

I wonder how Zoltar knows about the Zark in the first place. Still, this could make for a good plot.

Exactly, I don't expect it from THIS comics group of writers, but I am sure a good fanfic writer could come up with a good story line.

Do G force go on Routine patrols? I thought their job was to mech bash and train.

That and eat spaceburgers

IIRC, they have gone on 'routine patrols' in canon.

ROFL 2

Maybe two Zarks will be better than one!

Only thing though ... wouldn't 1-Rover-1 sniff out the duplicate ... especially if he doesn't have any kibbled carpet tacks or wrenches ....?

Yeah, if you're going to use an Old Testament or mythological reference for your product's name, you might want to avoid the ones that were failures. Laugh1 I will assume that Zoltar, being Spectran, isn't up on Earth's cultural history and didn't do his research thoroughly enough.

Did anyone else almost expect the box with the ball bearings to say "Acme" on it, or have I just watched too many Wile E. Coyote cartoons in my youth?

I was going to add "Or knows where to find Center Neptune," but I don't think its location being a big secret was a BOTP plot point the way it was in Gatch... And anyway, if this is post-"Invasion of the Space Center," the Spectrans would know where to look for it.

Or now that I think some more... in the BOTP episode, "The Silent City," (Gatch ep. 68) Zoltar is disguised as Chief Anderson and it's implied that he was impersonating Anderson even in the first scene where Anderson's briefing the team at (what sure looks like) Center Neptune.

Clearly security isn't very tight at Center Neptune -I could believe the Spectrans know all sorts of things about what's going on there!

For once, I'm quite curious to see how this installment will play out, and how long will they take to sniff out the false Zark -- and maybe decide to keep him and send the original back to Zoltar!

I'd think if they decide to keep the duplicate, then they make sure the original is totally destroyed first......
