At least that makes a little more sense than a Japanese brand of shampoo and conditioner I found in the 1980's ... would you wash your hair with something called "My Pee"?

When I spent a whole 10 days in Japan, there was this drink called Calpiss (I'm pretty sure that's the spelling, as it's part of what made it funny). It was kind of a Gatorade, and it was a bit disturbingly murky white despite being clear. I've noticed when I see it in stores on this side of the Pacific it's got a different name. Wink

ETA: It wasn't bad, really. Smile

In Japan I found this one drink called Sweat. I think it was supposed to be some kind of vitamin water?

Pocari Sweat! That's another one. Actually, I think that's the one I was describing, the Calpiss was opaque white? I remember both products.

Opaque white, has me thinking coconut water or something like that.

Chris, yes, Pocari Sweat, that's the one! We had to take a picture of the vending machine. Big Grin

Then there were the Japanese hot dog crepes... mmmmm.... yummy! Wink

Just a guess here, is Mark's plan to scatter ball bearings in front of the giant to trip it over?

Bwah-ha-ha! Foolish mortal! Such a blatantly simple plan will certainly FAIL! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!

Oh, sorry, I got caught up in Zoltar's slightly over-the-top "Space Opera Villain" act...

All we have to do is add some strawberry-flavored Cheetos from China, and we'll have a party! Beer

That is, it would fail if the writers of this comic had any imagination whatsoever.

Yup, so Mark has a plan -- again! Is he, in the opinion of the writers, the only one in G-Force with a brain? Or has he hired them as his PR agency?

Can't wait to see Mark's plan, which, I'm afraid, will actually succeed Smile

Well I'll give you a hint, Daniella... there's only one more page to this story. It's a short one! Given that, do you think Mark's plan succeeds? Wink

FWIW, having Mark come up with an idea out of the blue and then having it work is very much canon... they used it in BOTP all of the time! At least now it's not Keyop the android always saving the day!

Even in Gatch, it would be amusing to count how many times one of them says "What do we do, Ken?" Sometimes makes me expect him to yell, "Don't the rest of you have brains?!" Smile
