At least it wasn't Keyop saving the day in this one! He's had a little too much time in the limelight. I'm glad someone else gets a turn!

...huh?
They outgrew their own strength? If they sprayed it with a fertilizer, then they gave them the strength to grow. (and I ought to know, judging by those Triffids of tomatoes growing in my garden) Though I would understand if the gravity got the better of them or something... or perhaps what Mark used was some other thing that makes other things grow.

...wacky.

Ooh, triffids... Now they're something that the Spectrans should try. Though now that I think about it, the jigokillers were probably sort of triffid-inspired.

Today, a new story. You can tell it's a short one because we start right off with the action!

So Zoltar USUALLY invades under cover of hurricanes? Since when???

And does Zark send G-Force out to investigate every hurricane then, just in case?

No, just the ones called "Hilda", "Brunhilde", "Inga", and "Gertrude"! Tongue

Don't you mean the 'robot fighter planes'? Wink

EW, I think what TJ meant was that most of the fighter planes in BotP either had robot pilots or were remote control.

Heaven forbid that kids learn the cost of far at an early age. Half of them would join the military and the other half would become pacifists. Oh, wait, since most of us grew up in the post Vietnam era, that happened anyway. And too think the censors tried to shelter and protect us for not.

Yep, Amethyst, that's what I was referring to: every fighter jet that went down in BOTP was flown by a robot. Wink

LOL!

No worries EW. Some of it is just habit, since not everyone realizes that the "real" pilots who died in Gatchaman (the cannon fodder), were robots in BotP. And obviously it is sometimes hard to tell the difference

For some reason this robot makes me think about the giant robot in the Astroboy movie ... didn't it also have its name written across its chest?

I wonder what kind of wacky plan will Mark come up with this time.

Oh, and every time I hear someone name anything with names like 'Goliath', 'Icarus', 'Phaeton' and so forth, I get slightly annoyed. (Which reminds me, I was leafing through a ((Czech)) catalogue with bathroom sets the other day. There was a set named 'Defile'. I had many interesting feelings when I read that. They ranged between a facepalm and hysterical laughter.)
