I often wondered about that in the episode with the old man when Jason was defrosted. Was he sitting at his station folded up in his cape because he was embarrassed or cold?

If I were him, I'd let Dr. Nambu/Anderson/Whatever continue with his Mantle plan. From what I've seen, it would decimate the world ecology/economy on its own, giving Galactor a perfect opportunity to present themselves as the world saviours, fighting against the child soldier-using mad scientists from ISO. It's not like I'm working on a big, multistory project, portraying the brutality of many simultaneous low-intensity conflicts escalating in a full cold war, when neither side is in the right and when atrocities are committed by both Galactor and ISO/UN, one having a complete disregard for human life and the other working under a nigh-fanatical illusion of justice and righteousness. Not me. Nuh-uh.
