He was definitely burbling in earlier issues. I guess his speech impediment cleared up!

I would like to know how Keyop went from being some sort of clone to a robot?

Last time I checked, robots are not grown from embryonic cells.

Yeah, I'm scratching my head trying to recall if we've seen any reference here so far to him being a robot and I can't think of one. And suddenly no burbles in this story either? Makes me wonder if they had a new writer for this particular story who barely knew any canon at all for BOTP.

Say, I guess in that story where Keyop ended up tied to a pipe by Zoltar in a basement that was flooding, he was never in any danger of drowning -he's a robot!

Heh, and in the story where Zoltar created robot doubles of the G-Force members, did the Keyop robot get kept in the end to use for spare parts?

The only thing that I can think of that comes even close is in the episode "Mission to Inner Space" where the scientists is complaining about working with women and children and Anderson responds, "It's true she's a women, but he's not..."

And is cut off. There are so many ways that sentence could have ended.

Keyop might be a child in age, but his experience is the same as the rest of the team's, which makes him older. Not that we see a lot of that in he way he acts.

In canon, Keyop was grown from a cell in a laboratory. I believe Zark narrates this fact in the first episode.

But he was in danger of short circuiting if the water got into his ears. Wink

You know, maybe that's what happened! They liked robot Keyop better, and he could even speak without burbling! Wink

They should have just had him stutter. It would have filled the time and stull identified him as different.

And now we see what the evil aliens have done... not only changed Chief Anderson into Captain Anderson, but put him in... gasp... matching clothes! The shock is too much for the poor man to bear, and his hair has gone grey...

Maybe Mark calling the Chief "captain" was the clue that Anderson needed to believe Keyops story as apposed to Mark's debriefing!

Has to be some logic in the daft stories, can't explain the outfit change though, and what's with the creepy looking twins behind him?Shrug

Must be the Wonder Twins in disguise. Or maybe Vulcans?

It's about time he gets some different clothes, even if its only a change in his vest.

And shirt, tie and hair do. Will the rest of the team get makeovers after they complete the mission? Surely they've earnt it!!

If you look earlier in this thread, KT, you'll see some definite makeovers for the Team in civvies!

Makeovers in hair, temperament, nothing was sacred.

So of course, the big thing is that the G-Force civvies... are not civvies! Only Keyop is wearing a numbered shirt, and it's fuschia.

And what is with the big 'GF' on Jason's shirt? I guess now he's advertising that he's in G-Force? (Yes, in case you're curious, Mark is blond!)

omfg:
I really thought makeovers were meant to be an improvement:

ROFL 2 Love your reaction at seeing one of the earliest makeovers, KT1972 ... it's a picture which is really not that easy to erase from one's mind!!

I fully concur with the Vulcan comparison! I knew I had seen those outfits somewhere!
