So yours are longer than ours, but your retail guys get it worse. Here, big and/or luxury retail is closed, so no clothes shopping. Stores normally open past midnight are open (convenience stores, gas), only a few grocery and drugstores stay open (usually the larger one from each chain).

Any DIY stores, supermarkets are usually open but only on Sunday stimes. With Asda, the suprmarket that I use and is owned by WalMart, it convient that it's open on Bank Holiday Mondays from 10 am til 4 pm, as sometimes I need to buy milk and some food for the day.

But our shops don't open til midnight unless it's close to Christmas.

Oh, yes, DIY stores are are often open on long weekends, especially around cottage country. They know their clentelle!

Unfortunately we know the 2 types of clienlle we have. the first one are stupid and blind. The second type are basically called shoplifters.
