Thats the parts that I miss about not having kids.... Would it be too bad if the mom is more or less a child herself (thought process wise?)

That's what makes it fun... now I have a legit excuse to act like a kid...and being a teacher, too, I can act like a kid in class... Freak2

I LOVED that part of Sesame Street. One of my favorite sketches.

What's weird, though, is that frogs DO have teeth.

With kids, I don't know. I'm not too experienced in having my own kids (having none). I'd like to think it'd be ok, so long as there was still a distinct line of responsibility. It also depends on the kids. With some kids I babysat, they were so well-behaved that I could be "one of the kids" and just keep them safe. Others, I had to become a sub-parent, being a bit more strict with them (kids need parental guidance and boundaries. Once they figured out where my boundaries were, they behaved, but they NEVER behaved for their parents, who set no boundaries).

Fortunately, I don't have to worry about that right now. Maybe some day.

Oh yeah... we gotta have boundaries...my students usualyy behave pretty well for me though... cause if they don't... they can't have fun with the rest of us...they get stuck with the "alternate" lesson plan... and it's no fun... Crying1

I think that it's rather fitting for the topic. I'm just wondering how come only half of the gifts work and the onthers are all quiet again?

If you had another turtle and a rat and throw green ooze over them, then you could have 4 Mutant Teenage NInja Turtles and their father figure and teacher rat.

As a kid, we had 2 goldfish (one was silver) and a bunny rabbit cvalld Thumper.

Now Thumper tried to escape with at least couple of successful times, would let mice sleep in her hutch and kept them nice and warm.

The neighbourhood cats would have a hard time fighting her and losing to her (probably eaten by her as well, hee hee). My borhter found a dead bird under her ruff because she was trying to keep it warm at night.

She died after at 6 years olf age.

Miss her. Crying5

Buffy wanders into the thread from the cold.

Hey, I had a hamster about 5 years ago! He came into our life by virtue of running around in the middle of a street downtown outside of a party we were attending. Someone asked if anyone wanted him, and we said we'd take him as we had an aquarium and a reciently passed away hermit crab. He was a little guy then. We named him Speed. As in Speedbump.

Like most rescued pets, he was well aware of his good fortune and rewarded us with the most laid back and affectionate personality any pet I've owned has ever possessed. I'd take him shopping with me, riding in my shirt pocket. He'd just hang out and occasionally come up for air to beg for a treat.

We had him for close to 3 years. A full year beyond their typical alloted lifespan as I understand it.
