Oh of course. How could I forget? That's why VH1 sucks now is because of that Celebreality crap they've been doing since 2004. Geez, the things a network will do for ratings. This is why I don't watch anything on television anymore and only watch stuff on DVDs, VHS and YouTube.

100% true!!!
they need to do something with the celebreality crap..its hard to find something to watch on TV...other than a good action movie like the transporter...also battlestar galactica was a good show...I also hear that was a new remake on the V mini series but never got to see anything.
But I am agree with AllentownDarkWater..who want to see Flavor flay making out?..yuck!!!!

And these days, refusing to watch doesn't help. The cable channels are owned by a handful of companies. And when you get cable, you don't get to choose your channels. (This is more economically viable than choosing your channels, but leaves you at the mercy of idiots who chase the 18 - 39 tits-and-explosions crowd.) You'd think each of these owners could leave at least one channel alone, instead of rushing to make everything the same. And I bet the tits-and-explosions crowd have the TV on in the background anyway.
So far TNT and USA haven't gone bugger-all, nor has Turner Classic Movies. But when the National Geographic Channel starts showing Locked Up Abroad, you know it's getting bad.
Allentown, Hulu has old TV shows. Not as many as I would like, but you can see some goodies if you look around.

You could just do what I do.... don't have cable at all. We just get over the air HD signals broadcast for free.

I don't have cable or dish either. Unfortunately, I live too far away for the free broadcast channels.
When it is cheaper to buy movies once in awhile than to go and see them or watch them off of HBO, et al, there is a problem. But I won't complain since I can watch them as often as I want (it's like rereading a favorite book).
Actually, the only time I miss cable is the occasional major sporting event (world series, super bowl, etc).
