Just one thing with this particular chat room - if you're idle for 5 minutes or more, it kickes you out. So every couple of minutes, even if you don't say something, just like type a full stop and send it and it will keep you active

I would recommend using IE for the chatroom. Firefox seems to want to put all new messages at the top of the window, whilst IE shows them at the bottom. Personnalchoice, I know, but I prefer reading downwards.

Chat rooms are different environments but they can be fun. Just remember if you are addressing a specific person, put their name in the message so that person knows you are speaking to them and not the group in general, though the group in general may respond (it is a public conversation after all). Don't be overwhelmed by the numerous topics, you'll catch up. If something happened a page ago that you want to refer back to, just copy a snippet for reference, but it's not needed for everything. Hope this helps for you newbies (we were all there, too, at some time).

Try it before hand; if it doesn't work Firefox much room without the add-ons and can be easily deleted unless you want it as a back or like the chat and want to keep it for that.

I could not managed to chat for 10 hours after being up all day. I would have fallen asleep a couple of hours in. Although it sounds like I may have woken up in the morning and been able to join in again.
