This is the first time watching it since I was a kid. The cartoon is based on a story by Rudyard Kipling. Animation by Chuck Jones and narrated by Orson Wells. Top notch stuff all around. Wink

My good friend in Hokkaido, Japan used to watch this cartoon as a kid as well. Course to her it was known as Yama Nezumi Rokkii Chakku (lit., "Rocky Chuck, the Mountain Rat"). That''s not too surprising since the show was created there.

Here I thought that BOTP was my first introduction to anime and it was FOTGF many years earlier. Wink

I also remember Riki Tiki Tavi and Captain Planet along with Siverhawks... Watched all three of them, especially at my cousins house, there was at least 8 kids younger then me.

Some of the others ring no bells, though I went to the movies this weekend and saw an ad for a new movie coming this summer.... Speed Racer.... I'll be there to see it, will be nice to get something good while waiting for next year.
