Have no idear??!!!

They need to talk to Keyop, he look like he knows how to smuggle thing onto the base,
I just have this mental image of Jason on one leg and Mark on the other looking up at a 50ft womble thinking "okay what now?"

mmmmmh perhaps they can talk to the chief, word it in such away as that they would be saving money, man power etc in clean-ups after a mecha attach and they would find uses for the broken bits, recycling etc

Q does anyone know if wombles shed in spring?, cause that would be some HUG hair balls.... -mmmm get the textile industry involved, generate extra $$$$ for ISO...

Becky Rock...I think you just opened a can of worms..cause now I'm thinking that this would get the RSPCA(animal welfare) involved cause of cruelty to animals...Wombles everwere marching on the ISO Buildings demanding their brother back, the ISO saying this womble was working for Spectra and is in fact a prisoner of war...and at the negotiation table Chief Anderson distracting the Womble deligates by throwing rubbish on the floor, which they feel a compulsion to pick up, thus slowing down negotiations... cross-over gone very special!! Grab better stop now before it grows bigger and I loose control

LW, I love the way your mind works! Guess since Jason didn't have the Joe puppy experience, he doesn't know better than to try and save stray animals.

Love your ideas, LW!

Am I starting to see a recurring pattern in these comics -that Jason attacks and fails, and then Mark is all "Run away, run away!"?

Posted by Transmute Jun on 10-07-2011 at 14:07:

LOL, I never thought of that, LB! Clearly Mark is using Jason to 'test out' the enemies. If Jason can't handle it... well then, Mark is smart enough to run! pound

Here's today's installment: an accessory I'll bet you never knew the Phoenix had. Why yes, there are rockets, individually labelled, because no one would want to accidentally use someone else's...

Laugh2

Makes me think of how my mother used to write my and my brother's and sister's names on each of our lunch bags in the mornings before school, so we wouldn't get them mixed up.

Nothing like making it REALLY easy for Spectra to decide exactly who they want to attack too!

Though it kind of suggests that they're in escape pods, a la Zoltar, and callously abandoning Tiny to his fate...

I didn't think of it that way!

But no, in this story, they're just heading in different directions. I think the writers wanted to send them off, but realized that the usual G-Machines couldn't go through space. Hence the hastily-whipped-up individual rockets...

Oh my! They could have come up with a better design of the crafts, though! At first glance, for me they look quite like those syringes to pipe icing with! ... wonder why!!

And, they also give me the impression that they could also be some type of apposite disposable rockets (hence the naming) working only on automatic pilot ... very useful in case Tiny could remotely have had enough of the others and could have wished to get rid of them!

LOL ... LB! I use to do that on every school item of my kids, in order to distinguish them, and I really have that same impression here, amongst all the others! I know that my kids would make a whole story out of an occasional mixup ... wonder what would happen if any of the G-Force members would use the rocket of any other! And yes ... the names on those rockets really convey the message "HIT ME!"!

I was with LB when I first saw the picture, thinking that they were escape pods.

I would love to know where they were supposed to be stores in the Phoenix and how they were to "take off". Do you think they got fired through the bird missile launcher? Ooooo, but then they could not have all taken off at the same time, could they.

Ah, CD, none of these important details are revealed in the comic...

I didn't think they would be. I was just making idle comments. Hey, at least I have reached a point of relaxation where I am ABLE to make speculations.

Their shape made me think of the bottles I used to use to feed my nephew when he was a baby!

And, no doubt Zark will declare that Mark is a wise and responsible leader in so doing...

*giggles* You're right, LB! They're very similar also!

Okay, today's bizarro shot... the Phoenix! You thought you knew the Phoenix, didn't you? Ah, but did you know that it has windows? Right on the Bridge?

Ooooo, so if Zark is a watch "dog." What would they call 1-Rover-1?

Obviously the windows are revealed when all the computers and screens are rolled into the ceiling or floor. Winknudge
Ohhh, or even better, the floor and ceiling rise up above the exterior shell of the phoenix. Kind of like the team when they are lifted into the bubble - which I notice is in front of the bridge in this picture.

I was thinking about that with the bubble... I thought it was at the *back* of the Bridge! Um... maybe right now they're all looking out the rear of the Bridge, and Tiny normally flys the ship backward? Wink

Of course, in the first episode, the bubble appears to be over top of Tiny/Ryu, as he rises into the bubble *in his chair* to collect the others.

Heh it's one thing to suddenly give the team individual rockets to be able to go off in different directions, in space, but now the artists just add windows to the Phoenix wherever they feel like too?

Can't think of the reason here, other than that the artist wanted the team to be visible somehow, while still showing Earth in space.

Or maybe their instruments have conked out and they're having to fly VFR -in space? No wonder Zark is so concerned about their postion... Laugh2

Oh, Zark is always in control... but if the Team want to travel without him, they just cut all power and use those windows to navigate by the stars.

Pretty handy, if you ask me. Wink

I hope they've got a better grasp of astronomy here than Zark does in the BOTP television version!
