New Gatchamania
Ok Gatchafreaks, youve prolly been wondering what in the hell has been going on the last couple of days.
Well this is it. This is the new site. Its not got all the bells and whistles the old site had but considering most of them didnt work it doesnt matter.
Instead I have gone for the upgrade to the forums, an emphasis on XHTML compatibility and offering only those hacks which I deemed working correctly.
So new site, new design, new server. Its a fully XHTML Trans 1.0 compliant site and its the ONLY hacked wbblite forum to be 100% compliant to my knowledge.
Now you may be able to find the odd flaw because as with anything, I may have overlooked something. I have validated the site as much as I can but I still think you users may find a non valid part at some point.
Anyway whats missing?
We no longer have pets, the RPG system, the Jukebox, the forum shop, lotteries, the file system or forum money.
Some of these I will be written again from scratch by me. So they will work this time 
What do we still have?
Arcade, Calendar, Who is where, all the forum posts and threads from our old forum.
What is new and improved?
Attachments, smilies, gallery ( a proper one ), a quick pm which works, sub domain hosting and lots of other little things for you to search for.
I have added all the old attachments back to their posts by hand people! Took me hours!
Now there is so much to talk about ill let you guys ask the questions. Ill just add up a quick poll

Question: on the page listing all the boards and forums,
The left button looking like text is something like "reply" and the right with a checkmark is "reply / post to thread", but what's the red star thingy? Please tell me it's not something like "delete the thread and throw shuriken at all who posted to it", otherwise I'm gonna be in trouble.

I also very much like the greater range of "recent threads" options.
Cricket, I think the red asterisk thingy marks everything in that forum as read.

Yay more happy customers!
I thought I would go for a brighter colour scheme, I was originally intending on going with the Katse uniform colours (red for borders etc) but I tell you, this site is one mutha to code CSS for.
Which brings me to my next little surprise, if you would like some slightly different colours etc then I am happy to tailor a style for you which can then be selected from the style dropdown in the bottom left hand corner.
The gallery is fairly advanced even though it only allows certain picture formats, you can upload directly and information about your photos will even appear, including what camera you may have used!
I am interested to know if the speed is better? So far I have found this host the bee's knees so let me know how you guys feel about it.
Oh an Buffy if you open the gallery page, near the bottom towards the footer display you will see a little hyperlink on its own called "add new gallery image".
At least you should do! Let me know if you cant find it!

'Fraid there's a bit of a bug on the main page, where it lists most recent people to visit.
I posted more recently than three hours ago, and Buffy posted much more recently than 7 days ago.
Might be a delay in updating the stats. More research needed.

Well spotted, its not a bug persay but I have changed it to reflect what you mean.
The last online should really be called the last visit because it references the last time you visited (less any activity today).
I have now changed this to how the old last online used to be by checking the last activity instead

On the main gallery page, there is an "add image to gallery" link near the bottom, not far above the "powered by burning board lite" etc box at the bottom. So you click on that and then choose the image, title, description and which gallery and so on.
As I discovered yesterday, remember not to use any apostrophes because you'll get a sql error rather than an uploaded file.

First I want to thank you Cep (and anyone else involved) for bringing this awsome web site to us. What I have seen of the "changes" looks pretty awesome. As far as the speed is concerned I definately love it because during the shutdown time of this site I upgraded my serveres speed too. Talk about perfect timing! 
The smilies rock too. The site must be forwarned though, I love the list of smilies.....will be lots of fun!!!!!
