Wasn't there an episode where Katse had remote control whales? And they attacked boats? And Jinpei befriended a baby whale whose mother was one of the attack whales?

   Yep, there's an episode like that.  I think they were robot whales, and they ran into some real whales and killed them except for the baby whale.  The baby whale then helped the team, and particularly Jinpei, track down the evil robot whales that killed its mother.
It was the Joe of whales.
