New Battle of the Planets action figures

Hi all,

New Battle of the Planets action figures are coming!

Toy makers Plastic Meatball have acquired the license for 3.75" scale Battle of the Planets action figures. No photos are available yet, but they are slated to be released in 2022. Their action figures are styled with limited articulation, like the original Star Wars toys.

Plastic Meatball's stated goal is to: "Create products that appear as though theyâ€™ve traveled through time from the store shelves of an alternate past, and evoke memories in our customers that are priceless!"

To me, that makes it seem likely that the figures are going to be based on the original Battle series, and not on designs for the upcoming feature film.
