Superheroes and our favorite heroes
In honor of the success of superhero movies (at least most of them are successful - Green Lantern *choke/gag* the major exception, although I love Ryan's Deadpool), I got to wondering. Would Gatchaman or G-Force be able to co-exist with them?
In Gatchaman's case, as they are Earth-bound, how would it work? Gatchaman handles Galactor while the superheroes deal with every other kind of threat, like North Korea, ISIS, etc? But some of the superheroes would have the ability to wipe Galactor off the map. Batman could search them out and give Superman the address and the next thing Galactor knows, their mech has been thrown at the sun.
With BotP's ability to go to other planets, would they handle those situations while the superheroes took care of Earth? Although Superman is from another planet, I don't remember his comics every sending him off to participate in a space battle. The Green Lanterns? *shudder* The Martian Manhunter? I believe he could easily go to Spectra and infiltrate. Aquaman could probably take care of water mechs.
I'd love to see Joe/Jason and Wolverine go on a mission together. I fear Ken/Mark would try to tell the superhero/es what to do.
Or would Gatchman/G-Force not have a place in a universe with the superheroes?

I, for one, wouldn’t mind a crossover that would bring WonderWoman and Princess together. Then Princess could use the lasso of truth on a certain commitment-phobic birdie...
Deadpool and Jason together could also be fun, but I haven’t worked out the practicalities.

They were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Naturally, they became heroes -- Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan.
Back when they did the Gatchaman comics (oh, I mean BotP), in the early 2000s, they did two cross-overs: Thundercats and Witch Blade. I enjoyed both, but I thought the Witch Blade one with Princess was much more in line with both groups.
Catherine Rees-Lay did two fantastic cross-overs between BotP and the Thunderbirds.
I would also love to see one with Jason and Deadpool, but it wouldn't be for the normal BotP audience.
I started a fic that was a cross-over between Jason and Batman and Nightwing, but it started going sideways and with the problems over at Gatchfanfic, I haven't been able to edit or complete it. Someday. But what attracted me to the idea was the similarities between Joe's story in Gatch and Bruce Wayne's and how they would interact once know each other's story.

Hi Julieann.
They're both in Gatchfanfic under cathrl. One is Disaster in the South Pacific and the other is The Great Kidnap Plot.

I'm so silly. I've read those before and they are great. I misread "Thunderbirds" with "Thundercats" and my ears perked up thinking Cathrl had written in a third fandom!

Ah. There are so many great fics out there it can get confusing.

It would be an interesting mix of characters.
Mark and Captain America on a mission, along with Iron Man. I think Stark would lose it with the both of them.

I'm trying to imagine how Stark/Iron Man and Jason/Joe would be together.

That would be more snark than the average human could handle.
How about Tiny and the Hulk going on a 'smashing' spree.

I've got the MCU's Tony Stark in my head saying stuff like, "Spandex? capes? Bird helmets? Seriously? Okay, I get you're from another culture and all, but you need help. Really, you do."

Also:
"Hulk put you in touch with therapist." (The Hulk)
"And I thought I had a difficult childhood." (Natasha Romanov)
"Please put on some pants." (Steve Rogers)
On a semi-serious note, maybe Hawkeye and one of the Condors could connect over the whole, 'I never miss' thing.

Ah. Marksmanship contest...that would be interesting.
In a different track - what about the similarities between batman and the Condor? Orphaned at 8 and saw their parents murdered. They both adopt alter-egos (I don't feel the Condors went as deeply into it as Bruce Wayne but the Condors had a defined enemy).
