Maurice White Has Died

Hi all,

I just read the news that Maurice White of super group Earth, Wind & Fire, and perhaps better known to us as the co-composer of the soundtrack music for the Gatchaman OAV series, has died. He co-wrote the score for the OAVs along with EW&F producer and arranger, Bill Meyers

I know he had been sick for a number of years. I tried to interview him a couple times about his work on the OAVs, but I managed to contact him at times when he wasn't feeling his best.

I've always felt his and Mr. Meyers' music for the OAVs was one of the highlights of the whole project.
