Oh, that is sad. I was never much of a Star Trek fan, but I did enjoy watching the occasional episode when I was outvoted as to program choice while growing up.

Spock was always the most memorable character to me, and to all Trekkies, I'm sure it's a tragic loss.

Does anyone else remember when Nimoy did the show "In Search of..."? I was just thinking and I realized how much of a presence he was in our culture. He will be missed.

ETA: As I was posting this, apparently, Leonard Nimoy made a trip to Sioux Falls (where I live) in 1981 and it was a big deal because one of the local TV stations played a clip from an interview he did there.

Yeah, my parents had that show on all the time.

I tried to catch any interviews he did; he struck me as a man of depth and intelligence and I found myself fascinated by whatever he had to say.
