Okay, I'll admit I have purchased some pretty stupid things on ebay, but somebody actually bought that hoax???

I see the Golden Palace Casino appears to have won it. No doubt it will look good next to their piece of miraculously preserved cheese-on-toast with the blessed Virgin Mary (or is it Marilyn Monroe?) on it.

Well at least it isnt as bad as those idiots who paid up to $22,000 for acorns that came from the famous Robin Hood Tree.

The fact they were just regular acorns from their backyard didnt cross the minds of these people.

A fool and their money are soon parted Pokemon

OMG,

With, like, a letter dated long ago, and a cheque from 30 years from now. (Guess that means that personal cheques won't be totally replaced by electronics, and I really should move my savings to that bank -- know it'll be around for a while.)

And an automechanic couldn't figure it out? Nothing against automechanics -- I trust my family to their skills every time I get in the car -- but I'm guessing the local physics prof couldn't figure it out either.

Thanks, Meridian!

Eee. Late reply, but I thought it was interesting that it was made out of medal. Whether it's just one medal, or a whole bunch, I don't know. It looks like an old portable heater with wires wrapped in and out of the vent and knobs and car parts stuck on the front.
Heh. Of course, people buy old sandwiches because of oddly shaped mold or whatever, so...
