What the hell is our government trying to do to us? Do they just think "Oh well, SOPA failed! Let's try and get the same law passed only in a different form, and if it gets rejected, we'll keep doing it until people start getting tired of hearing about it!"?

It's a combination of the entertainment industry pouring money into political coffers, and politicians having no freaking idea of how any of this technology works.

Much as I would like to think so, I'm afraid the only real hope the U.S. has is for enough of the people with multiple digit IQ's to vote in a new legislature. Otherwise, the same bunch of yahoos will continue to pass off the same garbage over and over again while ignoring the vital issues.

Since the SOPA/PIPA thing went to the dogs, the US government shut down Megaupload. And now its Filesonic as well. What the hell. Hope it won't progress even more. How am I supposed to get my Gatchaman episodes now? Lord, this is starting to get so infuriating. Angryfire Axeman
