Yikes, the squid, hatchetfish and sea cucumber there put to shame any Galactor mecha for nightmarish creepiness!

The only possible exception being the BEM.

 


Then again, if Tatsunoko had sought mecha design inspiration in some of those things, there'd have been a ton of too-scared-to-sleep little kids in Japan every Sunday night!
