Happy Birthday, Springie!

Unfortunately forces at work conspired to steal my internet away, so I haven't been online all day until now. Fortunately, I'm not too late to wish Springie a happy birthday! I hope that our fabulous resident artist has a wonderful day!

And to make it better, the Eagle wants to pass on his good wishes...

Awww... Puffles, thank you for saying that I still look young! I'm trying to stay young at heart, anyway!

CD, you're right...you guys *do* make me feel young! I'm so glad to be here around people who are still young at heart like me!

LB- WOOT! Love those pics! The Eagle is so smexy, and that banner is SO COOL!! How did you do that? Thank you!!

Thanks so much for all of the sweet birthday wishes, everyone! You've made my birthday so special! Grouphug

Oh, I'm always being late to send my best wishes to my wonderful friends! I'm so sorry I was late for your birthday too, Springie! I hope you've had the most lovely birthday ever, dear and, from what I'm reading, it certainly seems as if it were so!Huggles Who's young at heart will never grow old ... YOU'LL never grow old, appearances and all!

LB ... I agree that the banner you sent is totally awesome ... there are all the main characters of all the three series, also! And, I'm speechless regarding the one of Ken!! It's the Eagle as I like him! ... obviously, not leaving out all the shirtless ones like those TJ sent! *grin*

It wasn't hard. Every character, and letter, is on its own separate photoshop layer, so all I have to do to make one disappear is turn the opacity setting on its layer all the way down to zero. So, one by one, I made them all "disappear" while saving a jpeg of each change, and then changing the colour of the background layer a few times too. Then, I put all the jpeg images into an animation (in reverse order), using Adobe ImageReady.

I agree, gatchamarie, that Ken really shouldn't wear a shirt if he can help it. And normally, I don't advocate men wearing "speedo" type swimwear but the Eagle has the body to make it work! I've often thought that too many men with really good legs hide them by wearing those baggy swim trunks that come all the way down to their knees...

LB, you make it sound so simple, but really, that's a lot of layers! It must take forever to do something like that!
