Gatchamania member "Berg Katse" is in the hospital

I just heard from her husband that she had to go to the hospital the other night, because she had high blood sugar, and also developed a fever and is on IV's and oxygen. He says the doctors think she may have an infection. I'm really worried! She's one of my best friends here along with Springie, TJ, Maddy, gatchamarie, green, etc. I hope she'll be okay.

UPDATE

Got another email this morning:

Tests show she has bronchitis and an infection in the muscles of her chest.She had a shot against pneumonia earlier and its good because we don't have to worry about that.Her diabetes medication uses her muscles so that's why her blood sugar was so high.She's in alot of pain and she's on IV steroids and antibiotics and painkillers.She's still on oxygen and she's supposed to do breathing exercises every hour on this machine but the shift I work means I can't be there to make sure she does them and the nurses are too busy.It's too bad her friends are online because they would be a big help right now visiting her and helping her get better.She's in rough shape but she doesn't like bothering the nurses unless she really needs them.I will let you know how she is tonight when I'm off work.

I hope she'll be okay!

At least they have discovered the root of the problem. That is more than half the battle. Now that she is on the correct meds she will improve quickly.

I meant to comment sooner. Sorry to hear that she's having such a rough time of it. Glad to hear, though, that they have found the problem and that she's getting the meds she needs. Here's hoping for a quick recovery.
