Condor unmasked - it's The Stig

For anyone who watches "Top Gear" you will be aware of The Stig - a race driver with a full face helmet
Last year Ben Collins said he was The Stig...

Well its a lie - I know its Really the condor (Joe /Jason) who's cover was blow when spectra found out his true identity and thus had to get other outside work in order to cover his bill, plus he get to race, try out new cars and perhaps uncover more Spectra plots,
It's an ISO coverup with Ben Collins to throw spectra of the scent

Poke there's a story in there somewhere, I just have to find it

PS your feedback would be appreciated to uncover this diabolical injustice to the racing world

I've never heard of this show, but I can see the Condor as an undercover racecar driver!

I absolutely LOVE Top Gear and Joe as the Stig...LOL!!!!

The Journey to Bethlehem special was so awesome (even though they tried to kill James), and finding baby Stig in the manger--that made my Christmas!

Yes, I am a petrolhead. I am Mrs. Stig. Big Grin

Top Gear is one of my favorite shows. You can catch it on BBC America. I read there's a Russian version that started last year and an American version started a few weeks ago, but the original is the best.

They had Formula One champion Michael Schumacher on claiming he was the Stig last year.

I much prefer thinking he's Jason.

As for unfinished fics - my lastest count is 24. That's scary.

Wow, Becky ... 24 is scary. That doesn't make me feel so bad with my 8 (I think) started and unfinished stories.

Maybe we need to start Poke you to get you writing and finishing some of those fics.

okay my count of 7 seems insignificant now

All hail Mrs Stig and long live the petrolheads...may they rule the roads

and thank you I have a totally new idear now...cross between Mad Max (befor Mel lost it) Top Gear and Cannon Ball Race (with a token zombie for the post-apocalyptic theme)

I've been trying to figure out how to do a fic with Jason and Mark in the Cannonball, but I'm not good at writing humor. Fir one thing, which car would they use? The tranmuted G-2 or Jason's race car?

Several of the fics are part of the Blood Line series. I don't write from beginning to end - I jump all over the place and then try to put it all together. Bad habit that I've never been able to break.

Also, a lot of my writing is years old in longhand and I just don't have the time to type it all in.

Okay, I can understand that Becky since that is what is happening to me. I have several ideas (stories) started that will all fit together as I move forward in my timeline.

Obviously they'd use the civilian version... then transform if an 'emergency' came up... Wink

(my cut and paste quotes is still a work in progess)

See that my trouble,
I come up with what I think is a good idear, come up with parts of conversation (all sound good in my head) , put it on paper and...have touble roundeing it all up..

If I'm going post- apocalyptic (cause of the zombie)
I think I would need a tank... like a Smash-up-derby, losers get eaten and turned..
could be a virus that spectra has unleashed, civilization has fallen, 85-90% infection rate, 25year life span, (spectra has waited this long what is a few more years..oh would be that by that stage spectras children would then be immuned to all forms of earth diseases) ninjas are immuned and the race winner gets the antidote? potential????!!

work in progress

Wow. That's quite an outline.

One of the fics of mine going nowhere is apocalyptic as well. It came from a dream. I've been thinking about typing in what I have and posting it as an IF. If anyone else can take it further, they'd be welcome to it. I would just state a few rules to keep in line with the feeling of the dream.

I haven't seen that movie in ages! I'll have to add it to my netflix queue. I've got the original Smokey and the Bandit and Stroker Ace (the kids love them both), Rick has Days of Thunder ( I know, not so much comedy), but some how we missed Cannonball Run.

Becky, if you've got ideas for the story, and just need help with the humor, start writing and give me a few weeks to watch the movie once or twice (well, maybe three times, I do like to get a feel of things when I write them), I can help with the humor. Maybe even borrow schticks from other movies or shows and incorporate them in there.

LW -- quotes and codes are easy. For the first quote all you need to do is hit quote, for the second you'll need to copy and paste and code (unless someone knows of an easier way). But code is easy:

[ quote ] to start [ / quote ] to end just remember to remove the spaces.

italics are done the same way with [ i ]

[ b ] for bold

u for underline

if you follow the faq page, there are a whole list of codes to play with.

[i]VERY IMPORTANT -- you must remember both start and end tags (end tags [/]) or you get something like this with no italics

If I get a chance, I'll type the Cannonball Run one in and send it to you. Part of the comedy will be the Chief finding out they're doing the race and trying to stop them.

Jason's not the Stig.

We all know it's Speed Racer...
