I do appreciate the condor pics, but it really isn't my birthday.
Actually I kind of like my birthday in a morbid sort of way (yeah, explains a lot). But I missed my grandfather's birthday by an hour (I never met the man, he died when my father was 13; so it's a bit of connection to it).
But more infamously, the very day was the eleventh anniversary of one of American music's most tragic days. I tell students that it's the eleventh anniversary of the day the music died. They'd get 10 extra credit points if they get the full context of it.

The only one I don't particulary like is Terry. Although, a sure way to get my dander up is to put an a on the end of my full-name.
