I wanted to wear my Swan costume because I thought it would be fin to wear my Swan costume. Having 30-something guys calling me 'Princess' and drooling over the boots was an added bonus. 
But yes, if you're in the Masquerade, you can't wear your costum before Saturday night, which was a killer for me.

The tights were probably a good idea! I've often wondered if Jun wore some kind of flesh-coloured tights on her legs and upper arms -they say that their birdstyles protect them from extreme heat, cold etc, but she has all that bare skin...
Probably one of those things you're not supposed to think about too much, though.
