I watched a program on the weekend that showed this kind of racing with small powerful engine planes. i expected to see the Eagle jump out of one of them at the end of a race.
Its amazing and very skillful flying.... edge of your seat stuff.
The thing is they are actually racing planes and one false move and you're a gone.

That is some serious flying stuff. Absolutely I could see Ken in the middle of that (did you notice the red/white/blue plane that maybe could have even been his?) - would be interesting if the Eagle got just as addicted to racing as the Condor.

I had heard of airplane racing before but have never seen it. I could definitely see Ken doing some of this stuff

With Gatch, I've always figured that they were all "home-schooled", with Dr. Nambu bringing in tutors as needed, to work around all their specialized weapons, vehicle, combat and demolition training. I think it is possible, though, that Ken could have attended a flight school, say, when he was 16 or 17.
