Uh, their marketing department didn't read the ISO literature. There is no such thing as ISO certified; ISO writes standards, it's up to everyone else to come up with certification programs. (I say this as memories of my last job surface, nightmares of explaining this to our own marketing department, before they printed the letterhead that would be seen by the company that certified us. It's only a minor point on the audit, but too many minors equals a major, and no sense wasting them!) Then again, maybe things have changed.
