The House Fairy
www.housefairy.org
She's related to Santa Claus (or not; see her FAQ), uses a magic telescope, and visits at random. She leaves treats and letters and has videos on how to do things like fold clothes and set the table and why to eat with your mouth closed. Even if she can't leave a treat, she leaves fairy dust to show she's been there. The free videos make me think the $10 would be worth it (my kids won't pay attention when I show them things, but show them a video on the computer?) I'm also interested in what a "professional" would consider appropriate chores for my kids; they don't trust my judgment at all.
Her goals are quite reasonable; it's the consistent five minutes here and there that makes the difference, not the big
The section for parents is mostly videos, so I haven't watched them yet, but my kids enjoyed the ones on the free part of the site.
Cheers!

Geez, She looks rather like a witch than a fairy! But I must admit she's creepy enough to make me clean up my room!!

Hey, their rooms are five minutes cleaner than they were this morning. I count that as a success! (And one of her elves got an urgent MSN message at work to help with some treats.)

Yeah, last night she commented on the messy kitchen.
